My exploration of using acrylic sheets led me to create a lamp. I found myself inspired by the transparancy of the acrylic sheets, which, when backlit by light create a unique shadow and exposed each and every detail.

PHOTOGRAPHIC DOCUMENTATION of the skins

April and March of 2023

In these photographs I intended to make my documentation raw >>> raw in terms of capturing the high contrast and saturation within my acrylic sheets and raw in the way that the photographs aren’t rendered to be too perfect. Life isn’t perfect as isn’t art -- that’s what makes it special in my eyes.
